Simply Heart

Those pairs of earrings are part of my cleaning day on my jewelry material supply. I still had some swarovski pendant and think of the quickiest way to make do of them. I took it as a challenge, how far my ideas will go with this hearts, and plan to write a simple guide 'how to make those pairs' and maybe share it with you here. But that is not a promise, just a thought..:)

I still have some pendants in the drawer, let see..I come back later..

Last week Wire Project

I have this Glass pendant for quite long, I don’t remember exactly. But I remember took it from the "1 gr for 10 cents" bin, at Perlenmarkt. I bought 3 similar pendants, with different colour. One piece already hangs on the chain, and 2 more were still in the drawer, forgotten. :-(

And these weeks lately, were and are busy weeks. I am preparing some jewelry to be sent to Indonesia, am also working on my ebay shop, trying to sell some pieces, although I don’t think that I sell enough.:-( . I am working on my website, trying to finish it before I leave to Indonesia in the next 2 month. And, the most important thing, spending some time with the kids, since the first one is on summer holiday, and we don't have a plan to go out far, because my husband also will be on a business trip this weekend. So, I almost don't have time to go to blogger and blogging...:-(

Ok, back to the necklace. I did forget about the pendant since I could not find the right frame for it, to be use as a pendant. But then I realise, if my pendant depends on the frame, than it would be no different with somebody else's pendant or necklace, it would even be so usual, everybody wear it. And I want it to be different.

Then I took 26G Brass Wire. Wrapped the pendant, around, and around...give more wrapping, adjusting and tightening. I had no idea what it would be, another wrap, and see how it looked, more wrapping and stopped, just when I felt right. No rule.
And then I took the cones, put some swarovski beads, make 2 other simple charms and more wrapping. And string the cones, the pendant and the beads; I use handmade glass beads with foil inside. See how it looked. More tightening and put he clasp. And done!

this week project

This project was my first experiment using the hose ribbon shape wire. The wire are so easy to form, you formed it and re-formed, try another form. Even you can put the beads inside the wire, and you got wire covered beads. Nice hah? 

So, I took the 3 wire wrapped I made a couple days before, and string them on the wire covered nylon coated wire. Give more beads in a row, and more stringing…and ………..Oiallaaa…!!!You have a necklace that people will look twice at it…

The flowers and the sunset

Si bunga mataharinya ternyata survive, dan berhasil memekarnya 3 lagi bunga matahri lain di atas, walaupun tidak sebesar yang pertama, yang sekarang udah keliatan mulai layu. Getiing old hah?
Si bunga merah ini, gue beli dari Bauhaus, masih sekitar 40cm, ternyata bisa juga berbunga banyak...
